At Diamond S Longhorns in Purcell, the
heart of Oklahoma, beautiful longhorn cattle peacefully graze on
110 rolling acres. Owned and operated by Marc and Catherine Sacre,
their daughters Margot and Pauline, Diamond S Longhorns goal is
breeding and raising longhorn cattle with excellent conformation,
great color, disposition, and of course long horns.
Thats why we gathered a band of brood cows
that carry in their pedigree the names of the best bloodlines in
the longhorn industry. We own daughters of Tabasco, Dixie Creole,
Shadowizm, Houston, GF G-Man, Superman, J.R. 6-Gun, Zhivago, Cherrypicker,
and Watson 167 to name a few.
The bulls we are using are excellent sons of two
of the hottest bulls in the industry, the great Boomerang from Mike
and Debbie Bowman and BL Night Chex out of Bob and Pam Loomis's
breeding program. Both these herd sires have proven themselves as
breed improvers, siring cattle with excellent conformation, color
and impressive horn growth. Kelo Chex is already a proven herd sire
with several sons and daughters with 70" ttt and the young
Boomdaro sires promising calves with color, good hip and, of course,
very good horns. Enjoy your tour at Diamond S Longhorns.
New
acquisition:
Bonita
Scott from Panther Creek Ranch

We were
able recently to purchase one of the most beautiful cows in
the breed from Joe and Lorinda Valentine from Panther Creek
Ranch.
She will
be the new queen of our herd and without any doubt the cornerstone
of our breeding program for many years to come. At only 7 years
of age and 71"ttt she has a bright future ahead. Thanks
again Joe and Lorinda for making this magnificent cow available.
"Bonita
Scott might be one of the prettiest Texas longhorn cows alive
today. Not only does she have this amazing color, she also measures
71 ttt at an age of 1-8-2000. She is always the first
cow noticed in the pasture with other breeders. She is the epitome
of a Texas longhorn female! Beautiful and very striking color,
lay down lateral horns with that touch of the Texas twist.
She will no doubt go down in history as one of the most beautiful
females in the breed and one most everyone would like to see
in their pasture. She also has worked very well with every bull
we have put her with. -- Joe
